I'm Alyssa, the one woman show behind Guaranteed Goodside!
Thank you for being here.
I have been self employed here in Calgary, Alberta for 5 years now, and have been working as a Videographer and Social Media Manager. I graduated in 2020 from the University of Lethbridge with my Bachelor of Management, Major in Marketing with a Concentration in Communications.
Following graduation, I started freelancing in hopes of combing my desire to make creative visual content, with the needs of small businesses here in Calgary to market their businesses.
Something that sets me apart, and is of benefit to you as a small business owner is that my Social Media Management experience benefits my Videography services (and vice versa!)
When filming a visual project, it's not only important to know how to capture the project in the best way, but to also know what elements are key in order to make sure the visual content is engaging when it comes to post to your social media platforms. The underlying goal is to convey your message in a way that connects with your target audience.

What kind of Videography do you offer?I've been so lucky to work on a variety of projects over the years! - Event Coverage - Business Showcase - Promotional and Website Videos - YouTube Videos - Online Courses - Social Media Content Creation I am open to all sort's of projects and really enjoy being able to work with people and bring their visions to life!

What is your setup and gear like?I have three mirrorless cameras, a gimbal, lighting and backdrops, and two wireless mics!

Do you travel?I service Calgary and Area, but I am open to travel anywhere in Alberta!

What does Videography cost?The cost of videography projects is very unique and can fluctuate depending on what is being filmed. Factors that affect cost are things like the amount of filming days needed, the amount of finished videos needed. A website video will be in the $500-850 range, while online courses that result in multiple hours of edited footage can be anywhere from $1500-3500. Event coverage usually falls in the $1200-1800 range.

What services do you offer for Social Media?I'm very flexible with my social media management packages as each business is usually looking for something unique to them! Sometimes business prefer to create the content themselves, and are just looking for help in post consistency, and having the social media managed (responding to inboxes, and comments, posting to stories). Others are looking for full social media management and are looking to have videos filmed on location or will send me their video and photo content to have edited and posted to social media. What does Social Media Management cost?Social Media Management costs vary from $300-1500 a month depending on what services you are looking for! Typically clients fall in the $850-1500 range. For example, if you are looking to have 3X posts made a week with stories for Instagram, Facebook and TikTok. This includes passing unedited photo and video content to me to edit and create posts from, scheduled content, responding to inbox and comments and posting to stories would be around $850 a month. If you are looking to have me come film at your place of business once a month to bulk create social media content from this is typically around $1500. A great choice if you would like everything taken care of from start to finish. I show up with content ideas, film with your team dn take care of all editing and posting. I will also follow up with analytics so you can see how content is performing across all of your social media profiles. Do you offer Calgary Social Media Content Creation?I do! I can either do this in conjunction with personally managing your social media profiles, or I can come to your place of business here in calgary and film social media content with you, edit and return to you so that you can choose to post how you like! A great way to bulk create social media content all in one go!
